Gents to the center and form a starli' Square dancing is one of the highlights of our participation during the two years of gym classes required. We find our- selves tumbling. playing basketball. soccer and hav- ing a very good time. Badminton. deck tennis. ping pong and volleyball also add to a healthful. toning up class. llo you have any idea how many bones there are in your head? The jolt of providing this interesting information rests on the shoulders of Mrs. Emily Price and Mr. Orval Martin: an informative study of ourselves. this course being required of a high school graduate in lndiana. Drivers' training is an elective course which teaches the fundamentals of driving as well as safety. Taught by Mr. Harry Green and Mr. Xorm W-illev. this course of instruction is taken for a period of six weeks during a study hall. From teaching us how to play ping pong or to chin ourselves. to how to drive a car. this depart- ment is an active. vigorous one with the shining goal confronting them. that is to teach us to better ourselves by knowing and understanding ourselves. 2 . . ft sophomore gym class practices the new square dances.

Posters cautioning drivers. drinkers. and numerous others are another of the numerous activi- ties of the art department. The actual preparations for the various art activi- ties come in the art classes. During this time. each student tries his hand at drawing trees, apples. dogs. cars, houses, and people. to name a few of the arti- cles they observe. ltis a casual dedicated class with an interest and individual pride in each student for his personal creations. How wonderful to have an opportunity to study artistry!
