Who else sees the things we observe but don't see? Who else knows plants by name and stars by sight? Yvho else but they have a thinking acquaintance with every great mind in the country? Yes. they are enviable: and so are we. to have an up-and-growing science department. More than 800 students a year are grasp- ing the opportunity of putting science in their back- ground. An introduction to nature and to the wondrous secrets and magic nature holds for us is provided in first year biology. Field trips. experiments. and in- numerable unpronounceable words are characteris- tic of our freshman course in science. Have you ever wondered what make things tick. chug. ring. or putt? The answer to these questions. and many. can be found in the elective juniors or senior course of physics.
