G.A.C. scouts in action GIRLS' ADVISORY COUNCIL The G.A.C. was organized to recog- nize and to aid in the development of those characteristics of the individual upperclassman. These attitudes are schol- arship, honesty, sociability and character, all of which a girl is judged upon before initiation. Twenty-four credits and a rec- ommendation from a teacher are the qualifications set by Miss Slayback, the advisor. The proiects of the G.A.C. include fur- nishing scouts forthe general office, help- ing collect donations for different local campaigns, and cleaning the trophy case annually. A checkroom at the basketball games was provided by the G.A.C. for the convenience of the .left fans. Plans were made for an early spring dance. The success and accomplishments of the G.A.C. are credited to the endless work of Marlowe Graves, president, Car- olyn Steiner, treasurer, and the coopera- tion of all its members.
