These pages are dedicated to the faculty and ad- ministrators of the senior high school, this group, bedeviled by the student, has done a commendable job of trying to put some larnin into the student body. Our school faculty is divided into three different divisions. Mr. George Kenzler is head of the Mathe- matics, Science, Health, and Physical Education di- vision, Mrs. Zahn is head of the English, Social Studies, and Foreign Languages division, Mr. Askren is in charge of the Industrial, Commercial, Home Economics, Music, and Art division. Our school also has four counselors: Miss Beaver, senior counselorg Mr. Jackson, junior counselor, Mr. George Smith, sophomore counselor, and Miss Irma Slayback, social counselor. THE 441 5 3 I I ! SCHOOL OFFICIALS During these times when enrollments are rapidly increasing, the school board has been faced with many new problems. The board has overseen con- struction of a new school on South Eighteenth Street and has made plans for another new school. Pictured from left to right are Harry P. Schultz, secretary, Harry R. Murphy, president, and Russell F. Davis, treasurer. Co-ordinator Harold Askren, below left, sees that sufficient vocational opportunities are offered to stu- dents. Business Manager, Harry Taylor, below right, keeps the school supplied with necessary equipment. D. Preston Calvert, below center, served as attorney until january lst and was then replaced by Ambrose Mayfield, above right.
