IUNE june was probably the most important month in the minds of both the seniors and the underclass- men. To the underclassmen, june was the month in which school was dismissed, and, therefore, there was much rejoicing. To the senior it meant even moreg they would now gradaute and go on to col- lege, or on to the even more exacting road of life. When the present seniors first enrolled in high school, and during the years that they attended, they looked forward to june of 1950 as a day of libera- tion, however, when commencement day dawned, a note of sadness could be detected-for one would miss the pleasant memories of high school and all the friends that were made. These pages are dedicated to the faculty and ad- ministrators of the senior high school, this group, bedeviled by the student, has done a commendable job of trying to put some larnin into the student body. Our school faculty is divided into three different divisions. Mr. George Kenzler is head of the Mathe- matics, Science, Health, and Physical Education di- vision, Mrs. Zahn is head of the English, Social Studies, and Foreign Languages division, Mr. Askren is in charge of the Industrial, Commercial, Home Economics, Music, and Art division. Our school also has four counselors: Miss Beaver, senior counselorg Mr. Jackson, junior counselor, Mr. George Smith, sophomore counselor, and Miss Irma Slayback, social counselor. THE 441 5 3 I I !
