IUNE june was probably the most important month in the minds of both the seniors and the underclass- men. To the underclassmen, june was the month in which school was dismissed, and, therefore, there was much rejoicing. To the senior it meant even moreg they would now gradaute and go on to col- lege, or on to the even more exacting road of life. When the present seniors first enrolled in high school, and during the years that they attended, they looked forward to june of 1950 as a day of libera- tion, however, when commencement day dawned, a note of sadness could be detected-for one would miss the pleasant memories of high school and all the friends that were made. Page l-Q MAY Along about May, jeff students got the idea that the school year was about over, and that it was time to let down. Lessons just received a casual glance, but perhaps that wasn't such a bad philosophy after all. This was the time of the year that the seniors were joyous, for after four long years, it was almost time to gradaute. May also was the month of the Senior Prom and the month of the Speedway race, which many jeff students attended. May was also the month of the Indianapolis relays for the trackmen, and many suc- cessful baseball games for jeff apple-knockersu, This time of the year also provided the setting for many picnics, hikes, and outings.
