dirwLanaLa6'!ao4',dZwu.e, The 1947 Red and Black Revue was presented by the students and faculty of Jefferson on Thursday, November 6th, in the Jeff Gym. It was an all-school show given in the tradition started by Morris E. McCarty in 1936, which grew from his idea that students should have an opportunity for self-expression. Every department made its contribution to the Revue. The students from our shops and the art department assisted with the scenery and lighting effects, students from the clothing classes helped with the costumes, and the printing department printed the programs and other publicity. Mr. B. A. McAdams and the orchestra furnished appro- priate music for the acts. Departments presented an act which was under the direction of the teachers of the department. The acts were varied and showed real ingenuity and imagination. The managers of the Red and Black Revue were H. J. Wills, general chairman: Lelah Clark. stage director: Camilla White. music and specialties: George Kenzler, technical advisor, and Elbert F. Morgan, publications.
