Joyce Arnold was crowned Queen of Hearts, Saturday night, February 14, at the annual Queen of Hearts dance. sponsored by the Jeff Hi-Y in the Jefferson High School gym. Joyce was presented with a heart shaped locket and an arm bouquet of red roses. Shirley Coling, Patti Covington, Tudy Golden, Betty Ritenour. M. Larson, and Shirley Lee were the attendants. and they also were presented with flowers. The gym was decorated with a large canopy of crepe paper streamers. Andy Imperial furnished the music from 8:30 until 11:30. I

Leit to right: R. Reed, P. Bush, J. Stump, J. Cripe. B!i0fl,CllD.2ff12, Hallop. jim Stump and Pete Bush reigned as kings at the annual Bronchoette Gallop in the gymnasium on Saturday. October 18. One of the largest crowds to attend the Gallop in recent years attended this year's dance. Andy Imperialls orchestra furnished the music. Many novelty corsages were worn by the boys which were the gifts of the girls. Decorations followed a western style theme, with streamers of green and brown. The main attraction of the decorations was an almost real horse in front of the band stand. The programs followed the green and brown color scheme also. They were green with brown print and cords. Refreshments were served in the cafeteria during the intermission which were cokes and pretzels. The Riley Hospital in Indianapolis received the proceeds from the dance. IHIQV 'Iii
