Workman. , Such entertainment as the operetta, Don Alonso's Treasure , the Spring Festival at Lebanon, convo- cations, and numerous specialty acts and trios are the result of Miss White's splendid work with the Mixed Chorus. Miss White has been very co-operative and willing to furnish entertainment for the meet- ing and programs of many clubs here at Jeff, and all Jeh' students certainly are grateful for this. The officers for 1946 and 1947 have been: Barbara Bryan, Presidentg Bob Strader, Secretary-Treasurer: and Harry Milakis, Librarian. The Boys' Glee Club consisted of twenty-three members this year. These included archery. social and modern dancing, basketball, softball, field and track, and swimming. The girls sponsored mixers and worked in all possible ways to better athletics for girls here at Jeff. Their activities were concluded by an Honor Dinner at which time letters and awards were given. Bauer, L. Goldsberry, L. Wilson. The A Cappella Choir was a new organization at Jeff this year. It was directed by Miss White and was very proud of its 40 members. It has done a wonderful service for the public by singing for various churches, meetings, banquets, sometimes as often as two or three times a week. The club is organized on a demerit system and therefore has no officers. The officers of the Girls' Glee Club for the past year have been Pam Neher. President: Carolyn Bol, Secretary-Treasurer: and Roxy Hoover, Librarian. The girls have participated in many activities includ- ing the Spring Festival at Lebanon. a convocation. and some of them were in the operetta, Don Alonso's Treasure .
