The Girls' Advisory Council is a service organization to which girls with 16 or more credits and with recommendations from three or more teachers may belong. It serves the school by furnishing office scouts and scouts for the Sunshine Room. In addition to these they sponsor mixers and willingly do anything that may be asked of them. The officers were as follows: President, Perk Reitemeier: Vice President, Bob Fieldsg Secretary, Dale Stal- lard, and Treasurer, Haldon Graves. The club is sponsored by George Earl Carroll and Mr. Gerald Hitchings. A Christmas party was held on December 17 for the members and their dates, and on February 8, the Annual Queen of Hearts Dance was held. The jeff Hi-Y also sponsors religious convocations and mixers, has charge of concessions at football games, and con- tributes to the Community Fund, Infantile Paralysis, Red Cross, and the World Service organization of the Y.M.C.A. The Annual Mothers' and Sons' banquet was held on May 6. This organization has promoted the appearance of the school by decorating the entrances on holidays and by contributing to a fund for the improvement of the lawns. l'n:f- HR
