TO MEET THE DEMAND FOR MONE- TARY CONTRIBUTIONS, JEFFERSON STUDENTS GIVE GENEROUSLY OF THEIR TIME AND INTEREST TO CHAR- ITABLE AND CIVIC PROJECTS. FRE- QUENT PAPER DRIVES AND EXTEN- SIVE CHRISTMAS CHEER FOR THE NEEDY CHARACTERIZE THE COMMU- NITY ENTHUSIASM OF THE STUDENT. If this paper drive worker looks unusually at home among newspapers, it's because he's George Gilpin, editor of the DECLARATION. Some people will do anything to get the news. Every year .Iefferson's advisories prepare Christmas Cheer boxes for deserving San Antonio families. Student Council workers load one of the gaily decorated boxes on a Welfare Agency truck. laii4 Ls 2sla1xsa1sfw:safei ' '
