Serving as edifor-in-chief of fhe Silver Anniversary issue of fhe Monficello has been an excifing, challenging, and rewarding experience. The fwenfy-five year hisfory of Thomas Jefferson High School has come alive for fhe yearbook sfaff. The hope of fhose of us who have complefed fwo years of looking info fhe pasf is fhaf fhis fwenfy-fiffh volume increases your pride in fhe sfeady progress made by our school during ifs firsf quarfer of a cenfury. The nexf fwenfy-five years sfrefch before usg and we are aware fhaf fhe edifor of fhe Golden Anniversary number will some day be perusing fhese pages fo see how he can poinf up fhe achievemenfs and accomplish- menfs of fhaf era. We are sure fhaf he will be iusf as proud of whaf he finds as we are. We have been helped immeasurably in our affempf fo capfure fhe spirif of '32 and fhe infervening years for The purposes of comparison and confrasf.
