While they receive this training, they also give service to their fellow students and the school. They prepare the books for the shelves and rebind the damaged ones. They serve as assistants at the desk by checking roll, and checking the incoming and outgoing library books. Many times these library assistants work for merits for either the Lassos or Girls' Cadet Corps. Binding books and helping with the many other things that take place behind the scenes in our library is their job. a .
