V r 14 The band gives a dance for new Ieffites. ECCTOBER 9 A new girls' club is organized at lefferson - the 1.1-l.A. ll Talents lnc. displays its members at an assembly. 18 Seniors pose for their class picture. 19 The StudentCCouncil installs lefferson's leaders in an impressive assembly. 23 Our parents go through a condensed version of a leffite's day and came through exhausted - parent's night. 26 The Seniors go western for a dance. . 27 The band participates in a marching contest in Aransas Pass and comes out with high honors. Q NOVEMBER l 2 We go to Austin and freeze through a football game. i 9 leffites feast on seafood in Corpus Christi before the second out-of-town game of the season. 12 The uniformed groups participate in the Armistice Day parade. lp 16 The Seniors frolic through a wonderful Caribbean Cruise. 4 18 Rev. I. W. Morgan gives us reasons for being thankful on a memorable Thanksgiving Assembly. l 22 Our Mustangs fight through the Turkey Day classic with Brack and come up with a 7-7 tie despite injuries and illness. 23-24 Holidays! l 29 Hlohn Humanity Doe is introduced to leff in an assembly given by the stage crew. 4 30 M.l.R.s give the first club show of the year. DECEMBER 1 5 The advanced education class from Trinity comes to leff to see how a first class high school operates. 6 lournalism students go to Denton to find out the why and wherefore of Iournalism. l 7 The Religious I-lour Choir from Baylor University presents an unusual assembly. 7 Our Freshmen discard their studious expressions and enjoy a dance. 1-8 The Student Council sponsors a drive to collect paper. 12 Iefferson pays solemn tribute to the memory of Miss Frances Smith in the most impressive assembly of the year. 13-14 The vocal department sends us into gales of laughter with their M. S. Pinaforef' ' 15 The M.I.R.s take over the gym for a Christmas dance. 20 The laspers dance in the halls. 21 Xmas holidays begin. 22 Student Council gives a Christmas formal at the Olmos Club.
