Ma. 7 Quq Raqeu if Trusted guide, invaluable friend, democratic leader, efficient organizer- all these in a large measure are one Whose inspirational leadership, friendly manner, unselfish guidance, rare sense of humor, and personal attention to every detail have made our school one of the most beautiful and outstand- ing in the nation. Because he himself is fine and stable, he believes in us, and we in turn 'try' to live up to his belief. For all that you mean to lefferson and to us, we salute you, our friend and principal, Mr. T. Guy Rogers.

Spanish Acres it was then-thirty-three acres ot bush and brush, weeds and wilderness-yet one man's determination created there a great building, very beautiful. Already our letter- son is a tradition, cherished by thousands who claim it, known nationally for its beauty and its prowess. We thank you, Mr. Portwood, the one whose dream came true tor us. Close to letterson hearts is one who, through the years, while he was the well loved principal ot Horace Mann Iunior School, sent his graduates to us to become leaders here. Through the honors they won tor us, they reflected glory on the school and its leader who had trained them for Ietterson. We admire very much his warm smile, his wise understanding, and his splendid appreciation ot good things. We thank you, Mr. Miller, tor the part you have played and are playing in Ietfersons greatness. Ma. Umm Z. Milla M14 5 n.Z'05an14n,Z'omnJl9!zScfwal4
