There is a time for all things. The 1967 J is dedicated to a man who has certainly found time for all things, serving us in every capacity. He has instilled within us a sense of pride in our lives, our school, and our community. Giving freely of his time, he has assisted us in our development as well-rounded individuals. We, the senior class, of Jefferson Senior High School proudly dedicate the 1967 J” to Mr. Wilson. 4

MR. RICHARD J. MARSHALL MR. L. GENE WILSON LEFT TO RIGHT: Miss Carol Alexander, Mrs. Evelyn L. Behnke, Mrs. Delores Stauffacher. Administration Mr. Marshall served as Superintendent of Schools for the 1966-67 school year. His time was spent interviewing candidates for teaching positions, attending meetings, and running the public school system with efficiency. Mr. Wilson served his fourth year as principal of Jefferson Senior High School. He, too, was kept busy with many administrative duties. Mrs. Behnke and Miss Alexander relieved Mrs. Emery of her position as secretary to Mr. Marshall. Mrs. Stauffacher resigned as secretary to Mr. Wilson and was replaced by Mrs. Mary Strohbusch. 6
