Qlee Club For the first time in several years, a Glee Club has been organized at our school. The Glee Club was formed and organized by Mr. Jewett. At his departure, Mrs. Corbett continued to work with the girls. The Glee Club has participated in the Pops Concert, the Christmas Concert, the Spring Concert, and entered a music contest at White-water. In all of these events it has been very successful.

Senion Clan Play Under the direction of Mr. Goltry, the Senior Class this year presented an exciting mystery play, Hangman's Noose. The play was spiced with a few murders, and the outstanding cast supplied a little humor here and there. Jerry Shannon provided the lighting and Betty Stengel was the assistant director. This play will long remain in the memories of all who participated, as well as the entire student body. Pruefer, S. Boos. Choin Before Mr. Jewett left to serve with the 32nd Division, the High School Chorus held a successful Pbp Concert. Mrs. Corbett graciously joined the teaching staff in Mr. Jewett’s absence in October. She proceeded to direct the Christmas Concert, consisting of sacred and secular Christmas selections. In March, the Chorus was well represented with solos, duets, and larger ensembles in the Solo and Ensemble Contest in Whitewater. The entire Chorus performed at the Spring Music Festival in Whitewater in May, and also gave a public concert on May 1. The Seniors from the Chorus, and an ensemble of Senior girls, also from the Chorus, sang for Commencement Excercises. 77
