Here we are again. Remember usl We were sophon ores last year but now were juniors. We had our class rings by Thanksgiving. Lots of us had fun at the Mid-Winter formal, and for many of the boys rt was a brand new exper- rence. We had just resigned ourselx es to the fact that Christmas and the formal had to be forgotten and that our subjects needed at errtion xx hen plunk--. Exams. They were really something. Somehow' we managed. All was quiet then again. until the day Miss Rankin told us to start thinking about our prom. whorr we wanted for king, and what orr earth our theme would be. It wasn't as hard as we thought. Eddie Hager was chosen king, and the theme .ras Old Fashioned Gardenf Everyone had a wonder- ful time both decorating for the prom, and later dancing to the music of Richard Kent. We went home with a wish that there was still a Junior Prom to look forward to. But our junior year was not too busy to ignore other important things. We can still hear Skinny and Kathryn debating. Jerry Beilke giving his humorous declamation. Mike, Helenruth and Phyl cheering the team on to victory. We contributed to the football team generously-Jack Bayruether. Jerry Stauss Tom Endl. Duane Baker, Jerry Probst. Basketball came and we had a smaller' contribu- tion to make, but what we gave was the best. There .'.'as E'ldie. Jerry. Tommy and Jackie. Then came more exams. We passed. VS e're free for vacation. See you next year as -eniors.
