FOREWORD As wg leave Jefferson to push onward in life, we cannot fail to feel the sadness that comes to us when we realize that we are leaving the school in which we have spent so many happy moments among some of our dearest friends. It is because of our sincer- est desire that these moments may be kept alive in our memories that we compile The Jeffersonian for our class. May we remomber, with gratitude, the untiring efforts of all who cooperated to make possible the success of this publication. If, when we are surrounded ' by new interests which tend to make us forget our younger days, we open this book and feel that half-forgotten schoo 1 spirit creep back into us and fill us with the pride that we, alone, experienced because of our love for Jefferson — then will our efforts have been rewarded.
