Our Sophomore blossom burst forth in splendor And we found cur learning was still very slender, The worst had come which we had dreaded And best was the place for which we headed. Our lunior bloom was almost developed But we were almost completely enveloped With a seemingly curtain of lessons While we wasted all our study sessions Then our Senior flower was suddenly exposed To the fears of the future which life disclosed Our green leaves were scattered in the hall As life's promises beckoned our all. Our parents and friends to all we are grateful Tho many perhaps thought we were hateful For their kindness and love has prevailed And led us forth 'till the victory was hailed. To the teachers who carried us thru We thank them all and Mr. Keefauver too. With their help, knowledge, and kindness We overcome our unreasonable blindness. To each of these we give our thanks And hope that they ll forgive our pranks Ieff rscn High its teachers and friends remain forever alive To be cherished evermore by us the Class of 55 SENIOR CLASS SONG By Iune Scott e time has come to say good bye Although we seemed sometimes so crude Our happy high school days are oer e started school and students new And now we find another chore Our school and friends we love so well The hands cf time have come to tell That now the end is almost here We leave without a doubt or fear ur life will be both old and new Cd friends and duties new cries to e leave cur 'tea 'felt thanks to you The ones who guided us so true Succon comes ln CANS failure in CAN T8 13 Y ur tactful ways kept us subdued never never can repay All those whove helped us on our way CHORUS lr e ha we m yaways be e hes' f all that we may s pray 'wat God will lead us still An our due places we may fill
