A. boys respond: To practice brother- hood, honor rural opportunities and responsibilities, and develop those qualities of leadership which a Future Farmer should possess. This is why the future farmer organization exists. By working and co-operating with others, the F. F. A. boys practice brother- hood. They have responsibilities on the farm, care for their livestock each day, and work with their crops in the spring and summer. They become leaders in their community, their country, and our world. A Future Farmer should posses these characteristics. Our chapter participated in many events during the year, in- cluding parliamentary procedure contest, public speaking con- tests, and judging contests. 25
