We, the letterman of Delphos High, having successfully fulfilled the requirements of membership Cthat being to obtain a letter in one of the school's three major sportsj and struggling through the initiation, do hereby write our account of our '54-'55 accomplishments. Lead by the capable direction of our beloved president Ray tCap't. Kigj Kiggins. the D-Club proved once again that chivalry is not dead, by provid- ing flowers for lVlom's Night and Homecoming. We honored our Dads by giving them seats on the 50 yard-line on 'tDad's Night . Besides this We sold pop and programs at all home games. As a reward for our hard Work, We treated ourselves to a football game between the famed Buckeyes of Ohio State and Pitt. So We say adieu to another successful year. -20... Our organization, founded for the more scientific-minded students, off- ers enoyment both educationally and socially. The activities are divided into the six groups listed, each student choosing the one in which he is in- terested. The highlight of the year was our trip to the Bowling Green State Uni- versity Science Day Program. Our display received a good rating in. the competition. Another top event was our photograph contest held throughout the school. The winning photographs were sent to the Ohio Press Photography Association. This was the second consecutive year we received a super- ior rating and we are very proud of our achievement. Much credit should be given to lVlr. Herbert Gruenkc for this is also our sec- ond year under his direction. Although the music contest was the fruit of our year's work, we were also busy through out the year with such projects as our Christmas Cantata, Spring Concert, church visitations, and several school assemblies.
