Klwbz, The A Cappella Choir, under the direction of Mr. Kennedy, accom- plished much this year. They sang for the Thanksgiving and Christmas programs. At the Christmas program, they presented a musical back- ground While pantomines were enacted on the stage. In the spring, the choir made its regular appearance in the different churches. This annual tour of the community's congregations is a fitting and really Worth-While contribution to the Easter season. The Choir also took part in the District contests this year, which were held at Ada. They sang Be Thou Near Me, Lord and Thou Knowest Lord, the Secrets of Our Hearts . ..26...

S., under the able direction of Mr. Max Kennedy, had a very eventful and pleasant gl! At every home football game the crowds thrilled to their brilliant performance. The band members wore small lights on their hats and shoes. These lights made all of the formations very colorful when the stadium lights were turned off. Besides their home performances the band traveled to Spencerville to put on their show for the Spencerville people. Also on November 4, the band performed between halves at the Ohio Northern-Findlay football game and did very well. A year. 5 JG dp, IX! On February 17, a band party was held for all members in the gym- nasium. Everyone had a fine time and a fine meal-thanks to the Band Mothers. In April the band traveled to Ada where they participated in a contest. They played the required piece Walking Tune , their select number Alpine Holiday and as a warm-up number Storm King. They rated a 1-A. The officers chosen for the year were as follows: President, Grace Violet, Secretary-Treasurer, Joyce Credeg Librarian, Roger Brown. The sale of programs at athletic events and the sale of bookcovers and pennants to the student body kept the DH Club boys very busy. This year the lettermen's club said farewell to their senior members by presenting to them gold keys, which are an acknowledgement of past membership in the club.
