This year the Student Council, under the supervision of their faculty advisor, Miss Steinle, sponsored a dance, sold popcorn at intra-mural games, took care of the coke machine, and helped at Pep meetings. In January, the Honor Society opened its year with a meeting at which they began preparation for the annual induction services and elected the following officers: President ....... They were: Lois Carter, Janet Coon, J ola Craig, Suzanne DeWeese, Ethel Mox, Carol Powell, and Robert Knapp. In April the Honor Society traveled to Fort Jennings to help them with their induction of new members The emblem of the Honor Society is a keystone with the letters S C L S, standing for scholarship, character, leader- , Aig- ship, and service.
