Lakeshore Conference CHAMPS ... The Jefferson Bears, under the leader- ship of tri-captains Ray Avendt, Larry Fuen- tes, and Ron Myers, posted a 7-2 record in- cluding the Championship of the newly form- ed Lakeshore Conference. The Bears, on their way to the Cham- pionship, placed seven men on the l4 man All League squad.
