Swept Up in a Whirlwind Homecoming is the first maior event of the year. This year saw several traditions broken. The queen was crowned on the field at half-time, and floats were built and iudg- ed. As the football game was played, ten- sion reached new heights as the queen can- didates waited forthe decision. When the ballots were counted, and the announcement was made, Miss Karyn Forbes emerged as the Homecoming Queen.
