Steve Jarvi Ron Nord Captain Ron Nord CROSS COUNTRY 1 Cross Country was initiated as a letter sport at JHS this year This sport requires speed, stamina and determination Races are run on a two mile course which is usually set up on a golf course Flags are set up tc mark the route with different colored flags indicating which way the run ners are to turn. The number of the places where each team member finishes are added together and the team with the lowest total wins the meet Jefferson Cross Country men participated in seven meets this year in addition to the RRC.
