JUU£ Last summer Julie Wasson spent two months living with a Finnish family in Tapiola. a city just outside Helsinki, in Finland Two weeks were spent staying at their summer home and traveling to and from Lapland Her family intro- duced her to raw fish, reindeer and the Sauna bath, and tried to teach her some of the difficult Finnish language During heF stay Julie picked cloudberries, chased reindeer, swam in the ocean, visited old forts, watched soccer games, and got a glimpse of Russian TV Julie's trip was sponsored by the Americans Abroad Program of AFS Julie's Finnish Family L.
