Mary Jackson was elected from the Sophomores and Linda Eng- strom was chosen from the Juniors The three Senior queen candidates were Nancy Steen. Bonnie Smith and JoAnne McCarthy Thursday evening at 7 30 the royal court was named Bonnie Smith was crowned by last year’s queen. Jackie Spellman Mary was escorted by Steve Colby. Linda by Jim Hedine. JoAnne by Warren South- ward. Bonnie by Tom Vickerman. and Nancy by Don Urness The theme was Some Enchanted Evening and Angie Woodward sang the solo At 8 15 the parade wound down mam street The Junior's float captured first prize, the Sophomores second and the Freshmen third At 8 45 the parade ended at the ball park where the flaming A” and bon- fire were lit Friday night the Cardinals battled the Glenwood Lakers, and won 33-12 Steve Colby brought in four touchdowns and Mike Kluver threw a pass to Tom Vickerman for the fifth touchdown After the game a Bird Dance was held at the school Anyone with a homecoming pm got in free The Alumni Tea was also held after the game at the Viking Motel Saturday night the Homecoming dance was held in the gymnasium Music was provided by The New Dimension 15
