Mr, Melby has served as advisor for the Audio Visual Department and has further contributed with several years as baseball coach. The function of teachers and person- nel at jefferson is not merely to fill the student with bits of knowledge, but to aid in interpreting that knowledge, and to give encouragement, guidance and understanding to those students. jefferson has many faculty members who not only accept the responsibilities of their position, but who also act as advisors for school organiza- tions.
