THURSDAY NIGHT: HALL DECORATING AND BON FIRE The spectacular Homecoming week began with our Hall Decorating contest between the four classes and the service clubs. The sophomore class, exhibiting a spook house with strobe lights for effect, won the contest. The freshman class, bringing the outdoors inside with trees and leaves, came in second place. Not letting the Clas- ses shut them out, a service Club, Triden, came in third. After Hall Decorating, we were able to have a bonfire for the first time in many years. It turned out to be a ttroaring success. MATHIS Only the Shadow knows 22 Homecoming Thursday Night HZOT! 23-; T Juniors Dontt have a ghost of a chance! XDVSULVLUd VSIIDI VSIHX

PTASZEK PTASZEK PTASZEK Scaple . . .Forceps . . .Boil water. . .? Everyone had a good time at the Civette Cook-Out. FRIDAY: PEP RALLY AND CIVETTE COOK-OUT Our Homecoming pep rally helped to boost the morale of our football players, who went on to Victory in the Homecoming game. It consisted of a pumpkin-carving contest between the four classes in which the class whose representatives were the first to create a jack-o- lantern won. Football players bestowed flowers upon the cheerleaders, and our president, Danny OBrien, presented roses to Mary Ippolito, who spent much time in the organization of Homecoming Week. The night before the game, Civettes and Civitans held their annual cook-out. There were great food, music, and a great turn out. HOh Bob, Poison ivy, How sweet! Homecoming Friday 23 YSZSVJA
