Classes were offered in French, German, Latin, Russian, and Spanish. Students and teachers alike were delighted with the revised Level One mater- ials. Frequent oral and listening practice both in the classroom and the lab made speaking a foreign langu- age a challenging and vital experience. Learning foreign THOMAS DeLaFLEUR songs and dances and preparing for the annual Mardi Gras Carnival helped to brighten the post-Christmas slump.
