Polytechnic Institute Administrative Aide ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS Without our assistant Principal for Instruction, Mr. Bernard, the management of arranging for substitute teachers, approving field trips and providing for textbooks and equipment would be utter confusion. With the organization needed to keep the school running smoothly, Mr. Bernard plans the curriculum and the supervision of instruction. He is also the one in charge of unlocking the display case. By introducing new methods and ideas to teach¬ ing, Mr. Bernard helps to make our years at Jefferson as interesting as possible. GLENN J. MUHLE B.A. in Ed., Wayne State M.Ed., University of Va. Mr. Muhle’s duties are those which most closely involve the stu¬ dents. As Jefferson’s new Assistant Principal for Administration, he deals with attendance records, checking cars for parking stickers and checking buses as they arrive. Despite the fact that his job includes the disciplining of students, Mr. Muhle is still well liked by both the faculty and student body.
