PRINCIPAL To the Graduating Class of 1969 I want to take this opportunity to wish you all the best of luck. Your teachers and I hope that you will be successful in all of your future endeavors. Yours is the fourth class to graduate from Jefferson, and the first to have spent five years here — grades eight through twelve. We hope that these have been good years for you, and that you feel well equipped for the challenges that lie ahead. This may sound trite or too often repeated, but you are graduating in a difficult time. It is, however, a time of many more opportunities in life than that faced by earlier classes. I know that you can succeed, regardless of your goals, if you are willing to keep your sights high, and to remember that nothing good comes without plenty of effort and hard work. It has been a great pleasure for me to know you and to work with you. The class of 1969 has been a wonderful class, and you have con¬ tributed greatly to the success of the school. Please come back to visit us, keep us informed of your whereabouts, and let us know how we can help you at any time. WILLIAM H. JORDAN B.A., Bridgewater M. Ed., Univ. of Virginia Principal PAUL Mr. Jordan, our principal, hard at work. 12
