Verlyn Simmons, above, was crowned Homecoming Queen. Her Junior At- tendant was JoAnn Floyd, and Mary Ann Lan- caster was elected Sophomore Attendant. We consider it an honor to represent Jeffer- son to others-as members of a literary or athletic teamg choir, band, string ensemble or dance bandg club convention or field trip group. One of the greatest of honors is to be elected Madonna, or President of an organization, or editor or queen.
