W ie 6 QM! .1 , ll . X, . .- .cuff ' is Z ' I Rain ruined our original plans for Homecom- ing. But the postponement only gave .leffites longer to work on the Pre-game Ceremonies and Parade. Verlyn Simmons, above, was crowned Homecoming Queen. Her Junior At- tendant was JoAnn Floyd, and Mary Ann Lan- caster was elected Sophomore Attendant. We consider it an honor to represent Jeffer- son to others-as members of a literary or athletic teamg choir, band, string ensemble or dance bandg club convention or field trip group. One of the greatest of honors is to be elected Madonna, or President of an organization, or editor or queen. Becka Quinn, Yearbook Editor, with members of her staff, attended the Columbia Scholastic Press Associa- tion Conference held at Columbia University. Mike Fisher, Yearbook Photographer, took the picture below of Becka as she stood on the University Library Ter- race, checking her workshop schedule.
