Most ab- sences are legitimate ones. A few wary stu- dents have found how difficult it is to come up with a prefabricated excuse that Mrs. Field or Mr. Anderson doesn't recognize for its true worth. It helps the student secure information concerning further schooling, and to secure information regard- ing the offerings of the school he might attend.
