Ai s ,. ev P504 ' , 5 gi x Thougx every year of school is unique and is remembered for its significance to each individual, many respected and appreciated traditions remain a part of JC. The excitement of Home- coming generates the enthu- siasm and involvement of students. Jayettes, Jasper, and the Marching Jays weave the spirit throughout the student body as the Jays challenge the traditional rival, the Kewpies. Students support such pro- jects as the Emergency Fund at Thanksgiving. Music fills the heart as carols fill the rotunda at Capitol Caroling and again when the curtain opens on the Operetta. Queens and courts add a beauty to the year along with the radiant atmosphere of the Prom. Graduation brings high school days to an end for Seniors and the traditional tear fills the eyes as they re- Hect on days gone by. Under- classmen return through the doors the next fall to be a part of the traditions of JC.
