CLASS PROPHEC Y The campus at Yale University, this summery June day in 1966 is bustling with anxious people. It is not only graduation day but the day of the unveiling of the honorary statue of Dean Bruce Quick, The Schenectady Gazette brought the good tidings to Joan. Naturally she asked for a leave of absence to attend from the Middleburg Central School, where she is teaching homemaking. Working as a Rhode Island telephone operator, Marjie was sure to hear the news, for all the lines were buzzing the name of her former class advisor. Ensign Malsch received a special dispatch from his old buddy Steve, The Navy department granted him a leave from his atomic ship to attend the cere- mony. Steve, now manager of a federal experimental farm, read the news in a Cornell Bulletin, The Stamford Mirror Recorder was so proud of their former resident that they splashed the whole front page with Mr, Quick and family portrait and a detailed account of his accomplishments, John closed his bowling alley two days in advance to drive to Yale for the great occasion, Dr. Benson, a famous medical missionary, read the news in the Sphinx Times and immediately departed for the U, S. A. Noted chemical engineer, Gus Dreier saw from his laboratory window sky writing which read -- Dean Quick's Honorary Statue to be Unveiled at Yale University June 10, 1966. Although we knew Mr, Quick was capable of such feats, the reality of his success fulfilled our faith in him. Thus, we happily, joined' the crowds of others to congratulate him,
