iff ,.1 1, , Agfagg tlgvoiogecgo I had a dream last night when everything was still, but I didn't see Susanna coming down the hill. It was better than that. I dreamed that I had one of those radio-television time machines. I set it for 1952 and began turning the dial. In a short time an image appeared on the screen. B 11 Fairchild was sitting by a lonely stream and fishing. tHe was using a basketball for a bobber.D By the bulge in his pocket you could see he was having luck. The indicator said that it was Sunday, Bil1's day off, and hinted that he would probably be back on the job tomorrow. After the day's hard work he will dri- bble home to his wife. The next scene was a radio-broadcasting room. A comedian named Jolting Junior Ray was doing his stuff. His Stuff consisted of Bongo-Bongo, Bango-Owl! Who hit me with the flower potg a goofy rymeg and as all fresh eggs do a few 'Yolks.n Finally he introduced the greet star of the show. She was a singer and piano player whose maiden name was Beth Hasty. Her song and playing was swell. After she finished we were introduced to the business manager of the show, Mark Waterman and his wife, Mildred. They seemed to be living a prosperous life and enjoying them- selves. The next thing on the screen was Richard Aker's farm. He was married and I think his wife's name was Mrs. Aker. Dick gets pretty tired sitting in the living room and driving his tractor by remote-control. He's talking about moving the con- trols out on the terrace. That image died away and another took its place. I saw Lewis Aker in one of his custom made cars, cruising leisurely around the country. But he wasn't all that was cruising. A pretty young woman was riding beside him. A banner flying from the car read Niagra Falls. That's where young people go on their honeymoon isn't it? Now I see a bungalow nbuilt for twon but I think three are living in it. A young woman named Betty Smith is its charming occupant. If you look closely at her becoming features and dimpled smile you will recognize her as Betty Hewes. This time I see Glenn Chappel working on his new electric train fits only a hobby of course? his real job consists of riding a diesel-electric locomotive from Fort Wayne to Denver and figuring out a new excuse for his with when he stays out too late. From another image I could tell you that Beverly had just come home from her screen test. She wakes everybody in the house and yelled, NI'm in the movies.n -She was so excited that she didn't even mention the studio Clmaginel. So I had to move on. Bonnie Cwardj Johnson and Mr. Johnson were celebrating their first wedding ann- iversary. Bonnie said it was the happiest year in her life. Her mother agreed. Don't think she wants to get rid of her daughter. B ll Mcwhirter wears a big diamond ring all the time. When he's on the job he can look at it and think of the wonderful little women back home. For a while we thought Mary Harber would be an old maid, but this vision tells another tale. Mary's eyes are shining, she puts her shoes on the wrong feet, she plays the guitar in a dreamy mood. Man, she's in love. I wonder who the lucky man is??? Mary Mills isla nice name, don't you think? That's the name that Mary Louise Putman took when she married Bob. She's having a wonderful time. Gerald Cowan is an expert mechanic. He can operate anything but his wife. Ger- ald will probably get a long ways in the field Knot operating on his wifej. we hope he does. The last image, and we hope not the least, concerns James Remke. It seems he has raked up enough dough somewhere to buy a new Ford Truck. He runs a trucking business, hauling tomatoes fand not the kind that are raised in the fieldsk.

James Remke - the right to use a few more dollars so he can have a few more good times. Raymond Ray - a radio strong enough so he can get on the radio and everybody can hear Hhis corn.H Mary Louise Putman - the right to change her last name to Mills. Bill Mcwhirter - brains. It seems he has everything else! Betty Hawes - the right to become a musician so she can do a duet with Charles Smith. Beth Hasty - the right to marry Petrillo so she may become a famous piano player. Mary Frances Harber f the right to woo some eligible bachelor with her guitar strummin' and fancy warblin'. Bill Fairchild - an athletic girl friend so he may play basketball all he wants to. Beverly Crawford - the right to turn a few cartwheels in case we ever have another gaso- line shortage. Glenn Chappel - a nice tubby wife so that Glenn's car won't ride lop-sided when they Ngo driving.N Richard Aker - the right to have thirty-eight kids so he can have a no Aker farm. Lewis Aker - the right to write a nice love song for Beverly Crawford. Gerald Cowan - the right to find a girl friend closer than Roanoke.
