4441 juruor Cla s s H1 story NIH teen yumors came back th1s ral' but later when Robert D115 an 1o1nc d us our number became tw nty As usual the class electlons took place 1n September wlth -I UIIIOI' Crawford as Presldent Helen Hosler V e Pres1dent N orma Fowler Secretary and Ethel Kelsey as Treasurer A0a1n lll1S year we had lwir Kent as our class sponsor As expected we took charge of the juruor store We chose P uul Gross as manager for the complete year He was helped by Mr-Wh1rter as help1ng clerks for the f1rst half The second sem ester saw Norma Fowler head clerk and Helen Wall and Ix4ar1lyn L ehneke as helmers F1rst semester 1an1tors were Charles Sm 1th and Thomas Whelchel second semester Ralnh H1nen and Eupene Vogely We had one class party wh1ch was held on New Year s Eve It was a gay party even though not all could attend The maln event of the junlor Class IS always the jumor Sen 1or Receptlon Thls year we put conslderable tlme 1nto the prep arat1on of the banquet The Semors were enterta1ned at a banqu et 1n the Old Fort Room of the Hotel Indlana Fort Wayne on Ap r1l lZ Afterwards we entertalned them as our guests for the re ma1nder of the everung Our last act1v1t1es of the year were the Semor functlons wh1 ch we attended w1th sadness and wonderlng th1nk1ng that next ye ar we would be at the partlng of our school days ' ,i 1' f 4 1- Etbel Kelsey, head clerk, Helen Hosler, Alice Ferrell, and Lois
