Board of Education We, the class of 1964, wish to give our thanks for the many things the school board has done for us. These civic-minded residents of Jeannette have given much of their time and energy in handling the affairs of the school system. They have taken care of many financial and educational problems that have arisen. Through their wise guidance and helpful suggestions, our school has become widely known for its vocational, academic, and commercial training. 7 MR. FRANCIS W. MATIKA PRINCIPAL, SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

ADMINISTRATION WE OWE OUR SUCCESS TO THE UNTIRING HELP AND GUIDANCE OF OUR ADMINISTRATION MR. HENRY W. PHARAOH SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS The supervision of an entire school district is a tremendous responsibility. For this task, our school board was wise to chose Mr. Henry Pharaoh. As our superintendent of schools, Mr. Pharaoh's jobs vary from the preparation of a school budget to the decision of school vacation. His varied duties make him an extremely busy man. Therefore, for this time J. S. H. S. thanks him. Helping Mr. Pharaoh in his work is our principal, Mr. Francis W. Ma-tika. Although his job keeps him entirely in our building, his duties vary, from the assignment of teachers to teach the various subjects to the helping of students find the right thing to do after graduation. No matter how busy he may be, he always has time to help the student solve some of their problems. For his fine guidance and help, we thank him. 6
