BOARD OF EDUCATION-Here are pictured some of the most civic minded and public spirited citizens who have given up much of their time to go over the many problems that face the Jeannette School System. Their efforts have been tireless and through their wise guidance our school has gained high standards of education. The Class of '55 say Thank you for your interest and work in giving us all the opportunities of a modern high school. Dr. Sayior-well-known and admired superintendent of Jeannette Public Schools . . . received his A. B. de- gree from California State Teachers College, M. A. from Pitt and his doc- torate from Penn State . . . is active in local civic affairs, and also an out- doorman who enjoys hunting and fishing . . . his friendly manner is an attribute to the administrative depart- ment . . . well liked for his sincere interest in students.
