Principol s Messoge To the Class of 1988: I As you look through the pages of your yearbook, I am sure many fond memories will be recalled. There will bring to mind the many classes and activities that made your high school years special. Looking through yearbooks of the past four years you will see the many changes that you have all under- gone. It will seem almost inconceivable that you could have looked like that as fresh- men. It is clear that we all change with the time whether we want to or not. What is important is not only how we deal with changes in our lives but with the circum- stances that surround them. It will be essential for all of you to be flexible enough to deal with an ever- changing world. The background you have received at lay High School will help you as you move on to work or college. Do not sell yourselves short for you are capable and qualified to compete with graduates from around the state and the country. It is cer- tainly a big world out there full of oppor- tunities and possibilities. You will be limited only by your own energies and aspirations. I believe as the following quote states: To my mind, the possible and the fu- ture are one. I believe that all that is possible is striving to come into beingg and all that can will be, if man helps. Andre Gide My very best to all of you. Bill Riley, Principal 2
