Senior Class News It seems a long time ago, more than four short years, when we first entered Jay High School as freshmen. At our first class meeting we elected the officers to lead our class. They were: Alice Seamon, president, Dolores Tessier, vice president, Jackie Cameron, treasurer, and Christene Dyke, secretary. Our first attempt at fund raising was the sponsoring of a successful talent show. As freshmen, we were represented on the varsity team by Philip Boivin and Elmore Ouellette. After three months of rest we entered school again, pleased to know that we were no longer the lowest class, but now sophomores. Again we met and elect- ed our leading four. This time we chose Jackie Cameron as our president, Shirley Chick as our vice-president, Louise Cornelio as our treasurer, and Alice Seamon as our secretary. This was the year we proudly donned our new class rings. Four members of the school orchestra were from the class of '56, Alice Seamon, Leanne Cook, Judith Mosher, and Louis Legere. During our sophomore year we regret losing one of our officers, the president, and a true friend to all, Jackie Cameron, who left us after a long illness. In our junior year we chose the following officers: Philip Boivin, president, Robert Melcher, vice presi- dent, Richard Gagnon, treasurer, and Charles Allen, secretary. We had a very successful Mistletoe Hoppe, the high point of our junior year, along with our Junior Night Club. Baseball Mgr., 1, 2, 3 4 Football Mgr., 1, Track tContinued on Next Page!
