Dutstanding Senior Athletes . , .gawk . 0 'vT'5 rt ft Ray Ray Lawson and Brian Adams are culminating outstanding athletic careers at J-T. Ray holds the school record for the 1600 and 3200 meter run. He was the Section 5 Class D state qualifer in his junior year. Ray ran in the state cross country meet in his junior and senior years and holds the county record. Ray par- ticipated in the National Junior Olympics when he was a Sophmore and a Junior. Most recently Ray participated as a member of the Section 5's winning intermediate relay team at the State Champion- ship at Cornell. He ran the 1600 me- ter leg in 4:24. HE IS J-T'S FIRST STATE CHAMPlON RUNNER. After four years of creditable par- ticipation on J-T's basketball team, Brian has totaled a career score of 1082 points. He has also achieved the honor of being Steuben County B-C League's most valuable player for the 1987-88 season. Brian is presently the Stueben County rep- resentative to the McDonald Ex- ceptional Senior All Star game for Section 5.
