X! 53.Li:l-ll There are smiles School would be a dismal place without the Smiles of our teachers. Desks, chairs, blaclcboards- all are meaningless unless we have someone to help us find and use every opportunity for l ing. Friendly and smiling, teachers are constantly helping us to improve our own per! alities by showing their faith and confidence in this younger generation. Probably in no other career must a person have so many aoilities. A teacher must be the master of certain sub- iects, he must be able to direct the learning of groups of students, and he must like to work with others. Bringing education to a faculty-student basis, JHS teachers serve as class and club advisers, dance chaperons, contest judges, a guiding influence. . .
