After several years of hard work and a few days of suspense, fifteen students became members of the National Honor Society, The impres- sive initiation ceremonies were witnessed by parents of the honor- winning students, the student body, and the faculty. The Recognition and Awards Program in May honored all students receiving distinction in a cer- tain field, such as journalism, music, or commercial subiects. -has ,za I PNN, ' With the largest operetta cast in the history of the school, the vocal department accomplished a first in music when it presented Babes In Toyland by Victor Herbert. Including the crews, over l4O students partici- pated in the three performances All the scenery and many of the costumes were ordered from New Yorlc.
