The girls liTTerbugged with each other, and some of The braver boys venTured ouT on The slow pieces, Once in a while somebody in The gang had a slumber parTy. As everyone knows, you don'T do much slumbering af a slumber party. We are and drank, played records, danced, Talked over The laTesT romance, and generally upsef The house. Sometimes we lost, More often We won and left the gym, jubilant and shouting, with another vice tory in our caps.

The tangible reward for our labor in school is presented to each of us six times a year by our home- room teacher. It is known as a report card-a small, white, rect- angular piece ot cardboard upon which our grades are recorded. lt doesn't sound very valuable, does it? Oh, but it is, especially to those few of us who are not burdened with the task of carrying it home. This is a very considerate act on the part of the administration, al- though the parents of these few don't usually see it this way. So ends our day. We hope you enioyed it. After such a iam-packed, tull- to-the-top, running-over day you would think that we were ready to collapse in bed, never to move another muscle. But not us, the conscientious students at Jasper High School! We have our ever- lovin' homework to do! No matter what the hour the Comp theme or the government assignment has to be done tonight. It's due tomorrow. The semester reviewing can't wait because the test is tomorrow. Eye- lids droop, Hngers grow stift, backs ache, and brains grow dull, but we forge forever forward, onward and upward to our goal, that nice soft bed.
