Zeanomzca We acquired a wider knowledge of the many color combinations and of various textiles including miracle fabrics as orlon, dynel, and acrilon. Garments, such as blouses, cotton skirts, and dresses were made by the beginning classes, while the advanced pupils designed suits, jumpers, and woolen clothing. This course proved to be both essential and practical for all young girls. We learned to understand more fully the basis of our present day English language We had a choice between two foreign languages Latin or Spanish A two year course in either of these subjects was of fered to the student 94:70 am!! Mr Millers Latin class earnestly studied their days assignment 7 sf- These students were busy working on their woodworking projects. -141 We developed a skill both practical and profitable Our newly equipped workshop enabled the boys to learn the latest designs in woodworking Each spring the drawing class stu dents along with the advanced shop classes exhibited their year's work at an Industrial Arts Exhibit held in the gym.
